I’ve been on a hell of a Ramones kick this week since I heard about the passing of Tommy. That one hit pretty close to home since he’s the only member of the band I’ve ever seen live. He played The Underdog in Peterborough to about 40 people with his Uncle Monk project a few years ago while another band bled through with Weezer covers from upstairs. It was kinda perfect.
I’ve been spinning both full albums and live shows as my in-studio listening this week…but my favorite was watching this documentary with Becky a couple of nights ago. Take an hour and watch the complete history of what was one of the greatest bands in history.

So Consequence of Sound is reporting that Lollapalooza will land in Toronto in 2015 the second weekend of August to compliment it’s annual Grant Park offering in Chicago.
